Top 10 Ghost Artistes Of 2017

This piece will definitely divide opinions because either you are a die-hard fan and just won't agree or you think they surpassed your expectations and don't have to termed as such.

My definition of ghost artiste is an artiste that didn't quite reach previous heights and the difference between both heights being very significant.
Below are the top 10 ghost artistes;

• E.L-He won the artiste of the year just 2 years ago and didn't quite leave up to the billing on 2017.He released his BAR 4 album and other singles nevertheless but I still think he should be included since his potential is enormous.This is unlike the self acclaimed BAR (Best African Rapper).

• Guru-Aside his song "problem" which was a potential monster hit but for one corner ,he didn't do much musically;he added a G-wagon to his car collection nonetheless.

• Pappy Kojo-Honestly,he's been ghosting for a while now.I can't really tell whether if it is a strategy that has gone bad or the people don't appreciate his music like they first did in his breakthrough year when he was on the lips of every girl.He dropped a quality song tltled Makoma featuring Joey B which Ghana slept on and I'm indeed sad that song didn't make enough airwaves.The song is that good.It's his best song yet in my view.

• Kwabena Kwabena-He released his album in the latter part of the year and none of the songs are on the lips of Ghanaians.By his lofty standards,he "ghosted" in 2017.

• Medikal-The "too risky" crooner will like to forget 2017 in a hurry for his unfortunate loss at the VGMAs where he was heavily  tipped to win the best new artiste thereby didn't win a single award out of his seven nominations.He didn't really release any track worthy of note and was heavily trolled on social media for his verse on Kwesi Arthur's grind day remix.

• M.anifest-The godMC as he calls didn't really do much in 2017.Aside releasing Mene woa featuring King Promise and Azumah Nelson flow,he was kinda dormant in 2017.

• Bisa Kdei-The contemporary highlife singer hasn't been as active as he used to be in the music industry especially like the year 2015 where he had songs for days.He released some songs like sister girl that didn't quite make the airwaves.

• Edem-Edem released "Mighty Jesus" featuring E.L and Jayso on December 8, that was more like it for him in 2017,I stand to be corrected though.Perhaps,he's concentrating more on his Timberland boutique.

• Kofi Kinaata-Everyone knows what Kofi Kinaata can do and couldn't do in the immediate past year.He's a good song writer and rapper cum singer but didn't have the magic wand in 2017 to serenade Ghanaians.

• Keche-When was the last time you heard of Keche.Your guess is as good as mine.All I can say is "Wei di33 aluguntugui gui.
