Rush Energy Drink Going Places

Image
The very popular Ghanaian energy drink which is nowadays used to sell other drinks from competing brands has set its sights on greater things having been largely successful in Ghana.      An advertisement of Rush Energy Drink was spotted on electronic advertisement boards at the King Power stadium during the English Premier League match between Leceister City and Arsenal which ended goalless. This is a good move for a product that isn't very old and also commendable because only "Blue Skies drink" can be made mention of when it comes to successful Ghanaian drink exports.

AK Disses Kaakie On New Song

AK Songstress To Reply Kaakie Today

Image
Kaakie released a song this week to diss E.L,Mzvee and AK Songstress but it seems the latter is not enthused about that and has promised to release a reply today at 6pm. She wrote this on her Twitter timeline some minutes ago; Expect me to bring you the filla when the track drops this evening and all matters that will arise as a result.

Instagram Steals Snapchat Concept?

Image
Well, looks like Instagram has a feature very very similar to Snap chat and people are not happy. Could this be a case of Deja Vu? So Instagram has introduced a very unoriginal concept of InstaStories, where you can upload images and video which will not show on your timeline, but to a select few of your choice and guess what else? The Instastory post is set to disappear after 24 hours. Now, why does this "new idea" sound very similar to Snap Chat's entire existence? The photo app owned by Facebook has upset a lot of its users for 'stealing' Snap chat's concept. The new feature gives you the option to add doodles, text, and emoji. You can also keep tabs on who is watching. Just like Snapchat. We sense a war coming. Today, we’re introducing Instagram Stories, a new feature that lets you share all the moments of your day, not just the ones you want to keep on your profile. As you share multiple photos and videos, they appear together in a slideshow forma

Collaborations To Watch Out For This Year

When artistes decide to collaborate together on a music project, it can be a wonderful thing. Creating music together can bring out new ideas, new sounds and more importantly new fans for everyone involved. Many of our favourite songs to date are the result of amazing, collaborating musicians. But on the dark side, collaboration projects can involve different personalities, different ideas and different egos. Collaborations can go very wrong if all parties involved aren’t on the same page from the start. It is super important for artistes to establish a healthy collaboration culture from the very beginning; those who do not probably won’t get the outcome they were hoping for as things will not go as planned. Nevertheless,I hope the collaborations below do become monster hits and not disappointments like has happened in the recent past. -E.L ft M.I:This Track is expected to be dope considering the CV of these two rappers in the hiphop game. The title is not yet public knowledge but

Kaakie Disses Mzvee And E.L In New Song

In a song apparently titled "Time Up", Kaakie is heard throwing shots at Mzvee especially for obvious reasons;for the title of Queen Of Dancehall. She compares Mzvee to the Ghanaian snack "adunle" claiming she is too slim and that she should find some food to eat in order to gain weight. She later mentions AK Songstress and throws shade at her too claiming she is back to take her crown. The interesting part of the song however is when she says " adunle mummy's boy b3ma tintin so gyina mu be oo", a verse I think is targeted at E.L because he has been talking about his mum in songs lately and also because he was featured on Mzvee's Make I shine,a song she is replying to with this new release. The verse is murky though since Samini, her boss is a mummy's boy too and even defended E.L for being a mummy's boy some weeks back.

CHALE WOTE 2016: OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE

Image
In just a couple of weeks, we will celebrate the fifth anniversary of the CHALE WOTE Street Art Festival. The sixth edition of the festival takes place August 15 – 21, 2016, with the participation of more than 200 Ghana-based artists and international artists from ten (10) countries. SPIRIT ROBOT, the theme for this year’s festival, embraces a power rooted in humanity. It refers to the energetic ability of festival participants to create a new encounter with reality that is entirely of our choosing and construction. Is this not already happening all around us, as a journey – not a definitive moment, but rather a series of moments? African Electronics was the spark – the blending of different energies to see if a pulse, a thick and palpable current, could be directed to shift or alter the frequency into some other kind of reality. With African Electronics , we got a peep through the window – this is a walk through the front door and a look around the house. Each participant
