  Basketball has over the years been gaining popularity in Ghana but even before it became popular nationally,it has always been popular in Tema due to the many courts that are available in the harbour city with children and adults alike seen playing the game during the day and sometimes at night.   It is the ever-growing popularity of the game that the organisers of this competition are taking advantage of by organising this novelty of a tourney dubbed "Inter-Church Basketball Tournament" which is scheduled to take place on Saturday,15th July at the Tema Chinese Court, Community 4 at 8:00 am prompt.

 The National Science And Maths Quiz has over the past few years become very popular mainly because of social media and the interest and coverage of certain traditional media houses like Citi FM,TV Africa,Joy FM,Joy News and Joy Prime.   The quiz I dare say has become the measure of how good or otherwise a school is aside WASSCE with all its flaws nevertheless.It is what especially old students of schools use as bragging rights over their bitterest rivals and the emotions involved aren't a child's play.   Competition is good but we shouldn't allow the National Science And Maths Quiz to just be a competition involving schools having contests and declaring a winner and everyone going to sleep.We as individuals be it old students of participating or mere observers will definitely go to bed until the next competition because majority of us are interested in the quiz because of the bragging rights and social media trolls if the hard truth is to be told but that shouldn
