 If you are a lover of Ghanaian radio and tv,then this is something you should be interested in to know how well your favourite radio or TV station is fairing in terms of listernership or viewership respectively.  A survey conducted by GeoPoll, the world’s largest mobile survey platform, with a network of 200 million users in Africa and Asia has released the TV and Radio Audience statistics in Ghana for the third quarter. Using the daily data collected through GeoPoll’s  Media Measurement Service , GeoPoll has analyzed the top TV stations in Ghana for Q3 2016. They examined both ratings and market share of the top stations in Ghana. The chart below shows the average ratings for the top 10 stations during the peak hours, from 19:00 GMT to 22:00 GMT.  No one saw this coming but the deal was first made public just over an hour ago via micro blogging social media platform twitter on Don Jazzy's account, @donjazzy to be precise.Details regarding the deal is not readily available to our sources but the deal looks really promising on the surface musically for both artiste and record label.  Iyanya thus joins A-list musicians such as Dr Sid,Reekado Banks,Korede Bello,Dija and D'Prince to make the already formidable Mavins Records more formidable. The much anticipated 2016 MAMAs was held at the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg,South Africa with performances from a tall list of artistes such as Korede Bello who opened the show with a performance alongside the Soweto Choir to Yemi Alade,Wizkid and Future just to mention but a few.Bonang Matheba hosted the show after the original host Trevor Noah pulled out at the last minute citing a severe infection of his vocal chords as excuse on twitter on Friday.Nevertheless the show was good in general but terrible from a Ghanaian point of view as there was a no show for Ghana in terms of awards and performances.
