Collaborations To Watch Out For This Year

When artistes decide to collaborate together on a music project, it can be a wonderful thing. Creating music together can bring out new ideas, new sounds and more importantly new fans for everyone involved. Many of our favourite songs to date are the result of amazing, collaborating musicians. But on the dark side, collaboration projects can involve different personalities, different ideas and different egos. Collaborations can go very wrong if all parties involved aren’t on the same page from the start. It is super important for artistes to establish a healthy collaboration culture from the very beginning; those who do not probably won’t get the outcome they were hoping for as things will not go as planned. Nevertheless,I hope the collaborations below do become monster hits and not disappointments like has happened in the recent past.

-E.L ft M.I:This Track is expected to be dope considering the CV of these two rappers in the hiphop game.The title is not yet public knowledge but one thing is certain;it will part of EL's BAR III Mixtape which rumours say might be an album this year by the way.

-Gemini ft E-40:Gemini is expected to feature the original composer of the choices song made popular by Sarkodie in Ghana in a few months time.The title of the song is bad boy remix.

-Mr Eazi ft Burnaboy:The skin tight crooner is expected to release a smash hit like he has been doing lately with Nigerian dancehall act,Burnaboy later in the year.The title of the song is not readily available now but trust me to bring it to you when I get the filla.

-Okyeame Kwame x Medikal x Sister Debbie:The two love birds will feature O.K as Okyeame Kwame is affectionately called on a track that will definitely be interesting since the three artistes have different styles of doing music and bringing that on a song means something dope is about to hit us.

-Wizkid x Rihanna: Wizkid might just become the first contemporary African Artiste to win a Grammy considering the kind of international collaborations he has been doing lately and having broken into the US market too already with songs like Ojuelegba and a notable feature on Drake's monster hit song One Dance,we only expect nothing but greatness from him.This song has been in the pipeline for quite a while but is expected to finally come out this year.
